 Weren't you told in no uncertain terms to stop stealing web content from CA??! Now not only do you have the layout of the forums, you have taken the artwork too!!

Seems like he's doing some kind of wiki, nothing wrong with that imo. Still has lots of work to do though but has potential if done right.

Here a mod told him about this:

And it is illegal to take artwork and use it as your own without permission from the copyright holder.

Ahhh, the irony of life on the internet. If only I didn't know the history of CA's trials and tribulations in the world of intellectual property.

Well I guess it's nice the OP took the time to make the website and everything...but as there is already a wiki for Castle age and multiple stickies on the forum + all sorts of tutorials on practically every aspect of CA I don't really see the point of the OP doing another one, especially if there's a copyright violation...

Ahh I heard something along the lines of something to do with the artwork...was that not cleared up or is it something ongoing to date?

Long since cleared up, I believe.

legal and ethical issues aside, the site (as I'm seeing it on my Firefox browser) looks only partially-done, it could do with a lot less white space and more condensing of the content rather than having to scroll down so much at the start.

It needs both a design and navigational overhaul. Correct capitalization, spelling - hell, just typing out of complete words instead of internet shorthand - would be a nice improvement.

If it's your first site, grats, it's not a bad start :) But there's still more work to be done before you should be telling so many people about it, IMHO.

I think he'd be okay if he'd make a disclaimer and cite the artist for his/her work.

I did have an issue with someone from FB stealing my original logo for a game. Someone saw it, alerted me. I got flamed. So I mentioned it to my 500+ website members. Needless to say I did finally get an apology, they took my logo down, and their game was destroyed. Since then I have put a clear TM on all my logos.
