Petition to Devs to fix bugs.

I am making this thread so that all those who like to play this app can quickly let the Devs know that we would like the bugs worked out. Simply add a quick comment of yea or nay to whether you would like the bugs fixed. We can consider this our official petition.

Hey guys, we're doing as much as we can to try to speed up the game. We will be doing iterative optimizations to the game in the coming days. A problem with this might be that the game restarts every once in a while so you will see patches of spacing out. For now, what would be most helpful would be to post reproducible cases for bugs. For example, when you get a white screen, what page were you trying to access most of the time?

Caitir for example said something about directly accessing the keep page instead of the main page. Her comment allowed us to isolate and create a few optimizations within our code.

Hopefully at the time of this writing Castle Age is pretty stable for most people as we have performed a bunch of optimizations today.

While in the battle page, I can click on either someone's profile (to see if they are ripe for pickings) or duel, and it sticks on the blue loading circle and never goes anywhere.

I should note that after clicking on duel I can reload the page(F5). When I reload the page it takes me back to the home page and I see that I infact had fought someone and it either gave me or took away money. So it seems as if the duel went through fine, it just gets stuck trying to give me the details of it...

Also when trying to view someone profile, again from the battle page, I can open in new tab/window, and after trying to load for a min it goes to the
"Error while loading page from Castle Age"

Works for me.
1) I get the loading error screen when trying to log on to CA more often than not.
2) I get in the infinite search loop when trying to access army, battle or dragon pages.
3) White screens occur so frequently that I have lost track of all of them but here are a few that I remember:
a) when I am battling another player
b) when I am battling a dragon
c) when I am questing
d) guaranteed everytime if I click a notification or have to go out of window.
e) almost forgot when I select a new general (just happened so it triggered my memory)

massive problems with battle page infinate search loop ,this happens for a couple of days at a time ,but is been happpening for months despite complaints already posted ,as you know i play this game a lot but there always seems somthing wrong with it might i suggest you put on hold all new updates for a month and get the game working propley its really really annoying

if i am on the keep page, and click on monster tab, i get the black screen that says i have to be in their army. click on monster tab a second time and it takes me to the list of active dragon fights.

also, is there a way to remove "fled" dragons?

Yes, the first thing you mention seems to have just started happening, but doesn't stop you from battling dragons.

As for fled dragons, they disappear after a certain point in time on their own. Around 72 hours I believe is the reported time.

Starting game from FB-Bookmark worked fine today!:)
Clicked Oracle and then Demi and got straight to FB error page. Actually i first got spinning blue circle of infinity almost immediately and then trying to reload or try links again i got to FB-Error,(Not the WSOD)

Opened Demi in a new tab worked fine.;)

So far thats the only glitch today.. :cool:

I am unable to help some army members fight dragons. I get this message for probably 1/3 of my army members:

You cannot join an epic battle with someone outside your army. To join in the adventure, try to summon an epic monster!

I have verified that all of these people are in my army and are FB friends. The message seems to be consistent for each user. The users I can help, I can always help. The users I can't help, I can never help. Do I need to remove these users from my army and add them back??

The users you can't help probably clicked the Call To Arms button on a friends dragon page, not their own. So since you aren't army members with their friend you can't join in the fight.

i agree. The game sucks as it is now. the pages take forever to refresh while someone is stealing your money or trying attack. The entire game will disappear with a click. money doesn't refresh so you can't tell if your balance is really true.

The game wastes too much time. Not only is it not entertaining like this, it's fricking annoying as hell.

You guys had better fix it or no one will join.

The problem I keep getting is when i try to click into a Dragon fight directly from the feed in my home page.

The first link it sends me to, is not the name of the person I clicked on. When I then go to my army, find that person, click on their monster button, i then get the black screen that says "X has no monsters to fight, call your own dragon". This, even though the person just posted a call for help ...

That is more than a little annoying. I haven't been able to join any new fights in the last several hours.

It is possible to call for help for another person's dragon you are fighting. If the person who summoned the dragon is not in your army, you can't help them regardless of who sent out the call for help.

I don't know about you all, but I think that the dragons that are created within your army should be automatically loaded to your Monster page so you don't have to look through all of your army members' pages or tie up your fb home page with all the dribble of every last occurance that is happening on Castle Age. I love to play the game but do not like to search or weed out my true friends and family.:mad:

Anyone have any comments on that?
