These dragons are for higher level people who want a bigger challenge. People with unbelievable amounts of stamina etc. And I think it is a good thing for them however, I read on a board that someone suggested putting a link to someone who attacks you during the first week of dragon fighting which means I'm probably going to get pounded because I'm going back to the way the game was played before dragons. I feel the dev should make dragon fighting to begin at a certain level and instead of the red bar let people know how many hit points the dragons have. I've watched 8 dragons flee. 5 were red 3 were gold.

Someone started a thread with that in the topic, but I read through them and everyone laughed him off. He wanted to act as protector, but was told to go pound sand. I've been attacked while battling dragons, and I'll hit them back in between dragons, but these people (myself included) will always be around, life in that aspect has not changed. People who complain about being hit, would've complained even without the dragon addition. They'll have to step up their game if they want it to stop.

True, but I've found it to be too much work to 'hide' now. Besides, I'm not losing as much as I thought I would money-wise, and if I take a good hit on my BP, I just have to get extra aggressive on my next targets. All in all, I'm a converted 'non-hider' :D I'm getting closer to 200 on both attack/defense, and so I win my fair share of battles. Soon I'll have to pursue more army members so I won't lose based on that aspect. The dragons have just opened the game up for battlers. So either learn to balance yourself statistically, or quit the game.
