Rewards for killing dragons?

I just finished killing my first dragon. Since I summoned the dragon, I expected to get rewards, but I don't see where I got anything. My wife is in my army and got a bunch of stuff for helping. Should I have gotten rewards since I summoned the thing to begin with? Where can I verify if I actually earned anything for this?

Unless its Keira, you don't get anything special been the summoner.. :D

When you view your monsters click on "engage" for your dragon just as if you were fighting it, then there is a blue "collect reward" button on the victory screen.
