Do the dragons regenerate?

There's been whispers that if you do not keep attacking the summoned dragon, and if you are waiting for stamina, the dragon regenerates... Is this true??? :confused:

I don't think so... at least not that I would have noticed. But then, they need that much damage anyway, that even if 1000 health healed in it over the time you attack, I don't think I'd even notice.
