Is it really necessary to kill the dragons quickly? You'll run out of dragons faster than you can summon anyway. Would the rate of 3 dragons per day be ok (as opposed to speed killing for 3 dragons/hr)?

I'd like to ask people in my current Lotus group if anyone would like to join. What we do there is have a Lotus up everyday, and everyone hits min500k and max 1.2mil damage. We've killed like 20+ Lotuses already at a steady rate of 1 per day (slightly more) without fail. They're a dedicated bunch, but I'm afraid not everyone has the stat requirements stated here.

nope, dragon is stamina based damage, meaning only stamina count in killing one, damage don't count

but since you still need at least 100k to get achievement (or better loot) that's why i set minimum (PA) damage.

there's an easy method to calculate how many PA you have done (not accurate):
- hit the dragon for 5 PA (critical not included)
- sum all the number, and divide it by 5 (this is your average damage)
- multiply that number by 40
or => 40*(your average damage without critical)

or other method, just look for smallest damage and the biggest damage in your attack (added those number and divide by 2, this is your average)

eg: assume you can do 4450-4550 (critical may be around 5900) in a dragon, then you're expected to do 180k (4500*40) damage... no need to go over, just stay close to 180k...

it's better if you're (willing) to count how many time you press the PA button, and note how many critical you get... this way, we can estimated how many stamina need to put in a dragon...

lotus has fixed HP= 9M.. so doing 600k with 15 army is enough. but dragon is not based on HP (read my post above). and i've enough of lotus already (got my DTG :D) so move on to killing dragon right now :)
but i'm sure anyone in your group is qualified to join this one.

PS:
- killing a monster faster will get you better loots.
- well if we have enough member (40), and they are active daily, we can split the damage to 2 parts, 20PA and 40PA (meaning only 100stamina or 200stamina needed)...
- right now we're trying to kill a dragon in 24 hours so it's not per hour :p

Lol. What does having orc king have to do With fighting dragons? If fighting serpents maybe having orc king is good but i don't really think having orc king or not matters when fighting dragons except that you use up your stamina faster.. Lol..

I would like to join.

I also want to encourage people to get their stamina goals met before chasing after attack stats. There is pretty compelling argument that its fast this way.

The purpose of 20 or 40 power attacks is the observation that the best favor points drop rates are at the loot tiers associated with that damage. Though our leader could probably articulate much better on each dragon, what the actual damage amounts are.

The purpose of finishing the dragons quickly is also that we are limited to how many monsters we can fight at any given time.

I would suggest using skype to coordinate summoning, or perhaps having a spreadsheet hosted through google, but anyway, sign me up.

i think the message about 40pa is that the dragon dies after a certain amount of STAMINA is used on it, not damage.

as far as I am aware loot drops are based on damage not stamina.

(although my 100k attempts at red dragons have been getting a lot of junk from 7,500 per PA.)

100k on red do not really give good stuff. From my observation, 200k may be better though.. I get quite abit of good stuff when i deal abt 200k to red dragons n i deal above 7.5k per pa as well,.:)

for the first experiment, we just need to do 20 click on PA, not more not less... i think we can manage to count 20 clicks on PA...

and yes the best reward is on 40PA, i get more chance of FP in 40PA (that's around 340k with my attack)... but to do 40PA straight will need 200 stamina... and 20PA actually give a good chance of FP too...

let's see how it goes on the first dragon... if almost everyone get a good reward with just 20PA then we're going to farm FP with 20PA :D

hmm your damage won't be enough to get you a good chance of FP, and we're summoning red, wish we can summon Gold, gold is the best source of FP i know...

well it's up to you to choose your general (but if you're using orc king, just note it in normal PA).. also when collecting please note what general you're using.

stat from level up is small.. so it doesn't make much different in damage.

90 stamina is a bit too low.. but if u join in and remember to deal at least 20PA (100 stamina), u still can do it, if you're close to level up

Where are the results of your killings posted? Are the results only posted in your group? I would like to know a few things ...

How exactly did you verify that a dragon requires only stamina to kill? For instance, if a Red dragon requires 40 people to do 20 PA, that's 800 stamina. If 40 level 40 guys with 1 attack drop 800 stamina, does the Red Dragon still die or do you still have to deal a certain amount of damage as well? I can only imagine you compared this to 40 considerably higher leveled players dropping the same amount of stamina and noting that the dragon died, but required significantly more damage to kill.

Have you figured out the drop % for FP on a Red Dragon yet? Is this drop % based more on how much damage you've done or is it based solely on how much stamina you put into the dragon?

I can also only assume that your findings are based on the dragon dying almost instantly. Under 1 hour? 2 hours?

If the answers to these questions are somewhere else, i'd be intrested in knowing. Thanks.

we have all log (especially damage of a dragon, and the summoner, at least since Feb22), but as for the loots you must find yourself in discussion board... and not all members post their loot...

or better yet, join in the dragon and share your loot in discussion... and you can decide...

None. Just hit 20 power attacks (hence why I don't really mind what level you are as long as you spend 100 stamina). It's a theory that this level of hits (not damage) will get you a reasonable shot at favor points.

You're welcome to increase this if you think it will improve your chances.

I should supplement this with a footnote. At the moment we're not adverse to lower level members provided they know what they're doing and contribute to the group. They are however watched more strictly and less leeway is given when doing member purges. If we find that a large percentage of lowbies who join have no clue what they want from the group, a minimum level policy may be set up to avoid the hassle.

- We ditched our old Google record system and have been switching to a new system for the better part of this month.
- Old records on the Google system date to April 6 and will not be accessible from the new system. All monster data from April 6 onwards is available on the new system.
- As a result of the migration process, purging was temporarily suspended and members have swelled (those that got in during this period get a break). The new system is almost completely functional now and member control policies will be reinstated soon.

That is too much, nothing optimal about that. Stay between 30 and 40 PAs.
There are no restrictions you can dump all the stam. Just an advice if you are after FPs.

We used to send out the odd welcome message back when the group was still a smaller, more manageable size, but we've been expanding quite rapidly the past 2(?) months and things got hectic. We are usually pretty quick to respond to applications (typically within the day). However, individual welcome messages are a bit too much combined with our other group admin duties. We just kinda hope that people will notice they've been accepted and shout out hello on our board thread.

Exacly, i didnt see that im in the group and after i wrote the last post, it would be lame for me to stay, since i said i quit.

Well nvm it all, i guess, its was my fault since i didnt check ( i was convinced that at least FB will send me a notice about it ). However since i quitted - i will stick with my decision.

It's not really so serious that you have to quit you know. Nobody knew this was an issue: you didn't know you were accepted, and we didn't know you didn't know. Now that you do know you're in, come and have fun.

There's no easy way for us to notify everyone that they've been accepted short of sending them a PM (which you can imagine the work involved), or sending out a group PM (and spamming everyone, which is a no-go). Not to mention some people have their privacy settings set so that they don't accept PMs, so we have to hope they notice stuff on their own. I don't know if FB sends out a message notifying people that they've been accepted into a group or not, but that's really a beef with the FB system, not with us.

To be brief, don't get too caught up over this. Welcome to the group ~

I'll just spare you some of the more creative answers you probably aren't interested in. To be honest, it's not that big a deal if you get booted during vacation. just reapply when you get back. Or drop admins a note if there's a purge going on during a time you know you'll be away.
