View Full Version : Fortify/Defense Tiers

I noticed a pattern while defending the castle. That with my 150 defense, I heal about the same as people with no point in defense. ~4800.
And as I looked around I saw that some people healed for about 10k, and then 15k with no values in between. So I am wondering if there is some tier system in place here. I have heard of people with 200 defense healing for twice my value.
So using this info as a baseline, maybe you guys can post your defense stat and your healing value in castle fortifying. We can figure out where the break points are... I have this idea that 0-199 is 4800, 200-399 is 10k, and 400-??? is 15k. I'd appreciate some data to confirm or deny my theory.

Okay, confirmed someone with a 338 defense healed for 15k. Not sure what general he was using... But I imagine that plays into the equation. Maybe 350 is the break for 15k.

Wow, thanks for the info! :) If I switch generals to fortify I can double my gains. :) Sweet. A few points goes a long way in this system.

I'm at 584 defense (over 600 now if it counts the +player def from general), and I'm still only healing for 19.5kish.

It is dumbest idea ever for this game. :mad: Why? Lets switch it to attack and see how it goes.

How many people are going to say @$$%^&!@#$#&%!^ at that?
Why did they set a tier instead of putting a progressive method as it is for attack? Do you think it will force the balance on attack and defense among players? Maybe just for some new guys. But for existing one with an sorta offensive build, it just push them away from this idea because it cost too many to rebuild a role due to a 199 cap!!! You probably need to level 10,20,30 times to get to that tier. So what people is going to do now. Start all over all. How? cheat? for what? set up a new FB account to build a mini-me in a defensive role. It is an awful circle to encourage fraud.
Devs, pls take a second to read it. Doesn't it make any sense to you?

of course, those premium defensive build guys still enjoy their premium defensive kills on the sea and castle as those premium attackers enjoy theirs on hydra/dragon hunt.

Yeah, attackers get boo'd out of Serpent and Castle battles. I go in there rocking 125 Orcs per swing and they're telling me to heal... 10 energy for 4800 health, and 5 Orc. Sigh.
Edit: they also create a lot of misinformation too. I always hear "If the blue bar goes below the red bar, we lose." or "If we run out of defense, we lose all our loot"... or something like, "If we don't fortify our characters are all getting reset!"

It's all about Orc King. :) I already have the Ax so I don't need anymore (it was disappointing anyway). And Azrael, I did assist on yours... but have 3 of my own up already.
It's fun getting a crit too... 375 orcs down. Makes me feel all tough.

To whom have high Def, how many Orcs do you kill per Fortify ?

Same here with 440 def. 17k or so and around 18 orcs with Meph

Health and Damage both... 1 Orc per 1000 points. Simple.
The chart is wrong... it's 200 to get to the 9k level. Not 180. It's 180 if you have Dante. And it's totally based on your own defense, no items, no generals.... (Unless than general boosts your defense, but his/her defense is not factored).
I would LOVE if items were factored... with Aurora's amulet and Azeron's sword alone I'd hit the next Tier. Oh well.

I love my dragon slaying group, they don't ever ask me to do any healing since I do tons of damage for the same damage to the walls per hit as all the others do for less damage done to the orcs. I typically kill 19-20 Orcs a swing, and peridically crit for 58 Orcs.
I still want an Orc King for these sorts of battles though.

Why would anyone want to collect axes? The Avenger seems to be a way to GET RID of excess axes, who would go out of their way to get a 14/0 weapon, that's a pretty sucky weapon there.

Not really. You can get Onslaught in about the same time frame as it takes to collect 150 axes, and that's 15/1.

Not if you know how to exploit the loophole. I haven't checked to see if it still exists but farming for thousands of axes was possible pre-nerfing.
You mean the loophole of hitting the thing after a certain thing happens (not posting it in case it's not fixed)?
I saw that, never did it, don't want those axes. You'd think they'd have fixed it by now.

Just checked. Loophole fixed. No more tens of thousands of axes in a few days.
