Not getting reward for dragon kill

Amethyst downed and did not get the map or the kill in the acheivement page.

Lots of damage was done on my part.

Please advise

You killed a sea serpent not a dragon, why should it count as a dragon kill?

The achievements are still relatively new to the game and came out before the serpents did. Perhaps they will add the serpent monster achievement in a future update. For the map, check your alchemy page, if the monster dropped you a piece, it should show in there. After you collect all 4 pieces of the map, you can combine them and then visit Atlantis where a new general is available for purchase. If you do not see a map piece under your alchemy tab then the sea serpent didn't drop you a piece of the map and you'll have to try again. To get all 4 pieces of the Atlantis map, you need to fight each colour of sea serpent

i already have 2 pieces of map and this should of been the 3rd but still doesnt show in alchemy page guess i'll have to down it again and hope it works

Maybe you got 2 of the same map piece

The map piece isn't always dropped.
Here's the list for what serpent drops what map.
Map piece positions:
Emerald - bottom left
Sapphire - bottom right
Amethyst - top left
Ancient - top right
