Sano does nothing... I think

Okay, so these generals in the game now have special effects when you have them equipped, right? Well, it looks like Sano's special effect doesn't work. He is supposed to gain you influence faster, but I'm doing quests with him equipped and I'm still only getting 2% influence when he's supposed to give influence 5% faster at level 4... How does that even make sense? And before anyone asks, I'm not using him for quests that require other generals, I'm using him for the follow-up quests.

The bonus works, just not how you are thinking about it. It's not 5% on top of the influence you normally get. So it isn't say 10% + 5% = 15%. Instead it is 5% more of your currently obtained influence. So if you do 10% influence normally, you'll get 10% + 10%*0.05, or 10% + 0.5% = 10.5% per attempt. That's why you don't see much of a change, as the less influence you would normally do per quest, the less of a bonus Sano gives.
