Lyra's Ancient Tome is described as a unit, but it's not an army. It fills the Item Slot (Blacksmith Category in town)
I think it's more approriate if Ancient Tome're listed as a Spell (instead of Unit) and listed in the Magic Category (instead of Blacksmith)
a Mage without a spell is kinda weird ^^;
oh, and great work with the recent generals. I really love the artworks ^^
Thanks ^^

It's a book.
Should be obvious that it'll be an item and not a spell.

uh .. dont you notice the odd stuffs happening here?
1. The book was listed as a unit (army), which doesnt make sense
2. The book is not an army though, it's an item. So it didnt match with fact 1
4. So it's item, which category is it?
3. A book as a primary/off hand weapon is definitely funny. A Mage whacking people with thick spellbook instead of casting spell XD, I really love it, but Castle Age is not a parody game .... that's why I think it's strange and not likely
4. A book as a helm? no i guess ^^ ....
5. A thick spellbook as an amulet? well, it's possible, but it will definitely make your neck hurt ...
6. A book as an armor? I never see people use a book as an armor ..
7. A book as a glove? not likely I guess ^^...
8. The only slot left is the spell slot. Ancient Tome is a spell book, I think it's make sense if it's occupied the spell slot
9. Lyra is a mage but she doesnt have spell in her equipment set? That's strange
So I suspect there is a mistake when the dev was inputing the data for Ancient Tome.
I just want to help the dev by reporting odd things that I found, that's all ^^.

When you invade someone, the Ancient Tome shows up under Items, not under Magic. I think it's a mistake -- it should be under magic.

everything the oracle offers you except the generals is listed as a unit when you look at it in the Home tab. It doesn't really mean anything.
The book is an off hand item, probably (I don't have it, so I can't check), and it's used by reading spells from it.
And it's a book. It's not a spell. It's a physical item.

Dont check on the home tab o:. Try to check the oracle tab,
- Lyra is "summon general"
- Ancient Tome is "summon unit"
- Rune Blade is "summon weapon"
- Heart of Elos is ""Summon Amulet"
spellbook doesnt fit with armor, helm, primary/off hand weapon, and glove category. I think it's more aproritate as a spell, since it's a spellbook
If you think Ancient Tome is really an item, which category is it?

Clearly it must be a Unit.

The Ancient Tome is an off-hand item. It is my strongest item of this type, so it gets listed each time I battle Sylvana or a Hydra.

Clearly they should be Units, I watched an Ancient Tome take flight and do battle with Bruce Campbell!

I think it should be appropriate in the "Off-Hand item" just because it's not a spell (it's made of paper!). It just has spells in it.
Anyone tried yelling "Go Pokeball" when chucking said book at a munsta?:D

Weapon (both primary and offhand )is for physical Attack, Shield (offhand) is for blocking. What about spellbook? Are you use it for physical attack? Are you use it for blocking attack? It's made of paper >o<!!!
Or you just simply holding it so your left hand is not empty? Me think spellbook doesnt function like an amulet where you can just hold it and suddenly become powerful ...

You hold it in your off-hand and read spells from it.
Or maybe dreadful poetry instead of spells. that'll certainly add to your damage:D
